Overall, the 2019 Camaro offers 11 daring colors to choose from – the 2019 Mustang offers 10.
You can drop the top with the convertible option, available on both vehicles, or ride either as a coupe. Inside the Camaro, discover the refined cockpit – created to optimize your driving performance. It come standard with cloth upholstery and a power adjustable driver’s seat. Ford also offers leather-trimmed seats and heated and ventilated seats. The infotainment 3 system with a 7-inch touch screen, Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are all standard features, along with Chevrolet’s Teen Driver Safety feature. 2019 Chevrolet Camaro vs 2019 Ford Mustang: Horsepower and Speed
If you want plenty of engine, you’ll love what the 2019 Camaro is offering! A turbo-charged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 275 horsepower and 295 lbs.-ft of torque comes standard. This engine is known to deliver quick acceleration and lots of power.
There’s also a 3.6-liter V6 that pushes a powerful 355 horsepower and 284 lbs.-ft of torque. Both come with a 6-speed manual transmission, but an 8-speed automatic is available – all at Malcolm Cunningham Chevrolet Atlanta.
But wait… there’s more. Two V8 options are in the Camaro lineup. Test drive the Camaro SS for the 6.2-liter V8 engine with 455 horsepower and 455 lbs.-ft of torque. Or, go with the Camaro ZL1 for the best engine of them all – a supercharged 6.2-liter which boasts 650 horsepower and 650 lbs.-ft of torque. This engine on the ZL1 will take you 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds!
No one can deny the Mustang’s powerful engine lineup, but it falls short compared to the Camaro. Ford’s EcoBoost models have a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, offering 310 horsepower and 350 lbs.-ft of torque. Your need for speed won’t be satisfied with this engine, however. The Mustang’s 5.0-liter engine is available in its GT models. It gets 460 horsepower, and the Mustang Bullitt models get 475 horsepower. The 6-speed manual transmission comes standard with both engines. For more power, drivers can turn to the Shelby models. The 5.2-liter V8 powers the GT350 and GT350R for 526 horsepower.
