Very Disappointing Experience – Multiple Issues I had a very bad experience for several reasons: Appointment Timing & Unprofessional Behavior: I booked an appointment online for 4:00 PM. When I arrived, Amber at the front counter was quite rude and dismissive. She stated that the website was incorrect and they don't offer service appointments at 4 PM. Instead of understanding the situation, she argued with me despite my clear explanation. I mentioned my vehicle only had 1% oil life remaining and I was concerned about the safety of driving in that condition. Rather than showing empathy, she was unwilling to help. This was especially disappointing as I am a former GM employee and purchased my vehicle from Melcom—I did not expect to be treated this way. Thankfully, another staff member overheard the conversation and kindly stepped in to assist. Service Request Ignored: I had also requested a tire rotation as part of the online booking, but this was completely overlooked during the visit. Once she found out I was a GM employee and I was going to meet existing GM friends after that, her behavior changed. Overall, I felt unheard, disrespected, and let down by the lack of professionalism and care. I hope the dealership takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both their communication and customer service.

Repeated electronics issue with my 2024 Silverado 2500 HD. Warning codes for traction control, trailer brakes, transmission, etc. took me down to a max speed 2 mph. Service Department was unable to fix it, and they placed blame on aftermarket electronics (that did not exist) interfering with the truck's electronics. I was unable to rely on this vehicle after 3 electronic break-downs in 9 months. Walked away from it into a brand new 2025 Silverado 3500 HD (drw). I'll hope for a better outcome with this vehicle or I am off to Ford or Dodge. I already warn others who ask how I like my truck about how bad my last experience was. I guess that makes me a GM detractor.

I dropped my truck off on Thursday mid-day and got a call back on the following Monday at mid-day. I was told that to repair my air conditioning that the cost would be $3,700. I picked up my truck and took it to Corey's Auto Service. They repaired my air conditioning for $512. Their diagnosis of the problem was not the same as your technicians diagnosis. They also told me that several caps were left off of the system and that there were screws loos on the system, which I assume was done by your technician. I would appreciate a refund of the $240.88 that you charged me just to diagnose my air conditioning and to not even identify the true problem. The repair by Corey's was to replace the Actuator Temperature Valve. My air conditioning now works fine.

A week prior to taking it in I made an appointment and told them I’m specifically making an appointment so my truck doesn’t sit there for days until it gets looked at. I brought it in on a Tuesday morning at 8:30 and it took 48 hours before I heard back so it probably sat there for at least a day and a half before it got looked at. That’s my only frustration. Everything else was great. I feel like when you make an appointment you make an appointment for a reason for it to be looked at that day. This isn’t the first time this happened. This happened two years ago when we had it in as well.

Mike was awesome, Eric was awesome; only thing that sucked is when we got home and found the exact vehicle we purchased advertised for 5k less than what we paid. It seems car dealerships are the only type of business that doesn’t tell you when something is on sale. If you go to the grocery store your chips ring up for the sales price, if you buy a shirt at Macy’s it rings up as the sales price, if you go to a restaurant and something is on special you get charged for the price of the special. This is very likely why we’re all told not to trust car sales people, dealerships, or the entire auto industry for that matter. If something is on sale, tell the person buying, advertise it in the showroom. This isn’t a foreign concept; it’s only foreign to people who sell cars.

Service Department tried to scam me for $2200. Told me my vehicle had a siezed caliper and recommended replacing both calipers and new brake lines for $2,200. Said the pads were wearing uneven, etc because of it. Took the vehicle to a family member that’s a master technician at another shop. The only thing wrong with the vehicle is that the pads needed replaced. No seized caliper or collapsed brake line. He took pictures of the old pads and show me they were not warped or wearing uneven and that all brake systems were working properly. I called in to speak to the Service Mgr and ask for my diagnostic fee back(as I had just purchased 2 new tires and performed routine maintenance 3-4 weeks early and the pads should’ve been checked then). He never offered an apology and his tone was that he could care less. I made this call on a Friday. He said he would speak to the Tech who performed the work and would call back on Monday. I heard nothing back.

When I arrived for my appointment I was told I had no appointment. No problem. My car was put in the queue. Just wondering why I was told that when it didn’t seem to matter. I received the assessment of items to add on but I declined. When I got the truck back no indication if the differentials were filled also no indication if the coolant was topped off. Tires were fine but you tried to up sell me an alignment. I took the car on the interstate today. At 75 mph I have vibration like one of my wheels are out of balance. It took the same trip Last week with that vibration. Can’t believe tire rotation would cause that. Overall not real happy

The communication from the service team at Malcolm Cunningham is much poorer than my experiences at other dealerships. There are no appointment reminders. Service advisors don't answer or return phone calls. I finally had to ask for the text message number and was at least able to communicate that way eventually. When I arrived for my appointment, the advisor was sitting there staring at the computer, saw me walk in, and didn't even greet me. There is a lack of enthusiasm in the service department that is concerning. This is my first Chevy product and so far I am less than impressed. When you buy a car, you expect to be treated as if your business is important and the employees at this dealership act like they don't want to be there and act like the customers are inconveniencing them from playing on their phones or staring at a screen. I am a business owner and I would fire any employee who treats a customer the way I was treated. You should go over the Carl Black GMC Dealership and see how they operate. That place is 5 stars all the time. I think it would be eye opening. My repair was done properly so thank you for that. But the service itself and the way the employees carry themselves costs you 3 stars on my rating. Patrick

The is not safe to drive the front collision system is offline which is need by super cruise system it almost killed me twice. General Manager Steffon play games want to trade in another vehicle and take lost value on my end. For Vehicle that damage before I purchased June 28 2025 they still have since Aug 2025 not update at all.

Oil change and checking over my new Silverado 3500 drw went well, except... I was told the dealership couldn't do a tire rotation on a dually and that most people who own dually's don't rotate tires. First, I understood that tire rotation was part of the service plan I signed up for, and second, dually owners do rotate tires...an important task for tire wear and safety. Now, I'll need to take my new truck to pay to have the tires rotated.

Was a bad experience, it’s difficult to make an appointment to begin with then the work done was overlapping on left side and right side. That means that nobody inspects cars after they are done. So was a waist of time I sadly have to return. I hope that this issue is taken seriously .

The service department were very courteous and helpful. The issue I had is the tire rotation. I paid to have the tires rotated this appointment as well as the last service appointment. I have a Silverado 2500 with front tire pressure of 60 psi and rear tire pressure of 70 psi, but once they rotated the tires they did not adjust the tire pressure. Front pressure was 70 psi and rear 60 psi. I had to adjust the pressure for the front and back tires. This should be checked as part of the service.

Waited an hour before being told they can’t rotate my tires because they couldn’t find the tool. Had to tell them just drop the tire rotation and change my oil. I checked the oil before I left because that just seemed like a stupid problem. The tool was in its case right there with the jack. I have no idea what they must have been doing for an hour.

There were 3 primary issues with my visit 1. Communication was non existent. All updates that I received were a result of me calling the dealership and requesting information. At some point I left a message for my service advisor and someone else called me back. 2. The repair and advisement was misleading if not untruthful. I brought the vehicle in for service and received a diagnoses that turned into another diagnoses after the initial repairs were made. I only found out about the second diagnoses after the car had been there for a week and had to call in inquiring about when the car would be done. 3. The service advisor was not personable or professional. He was not responsive nor proactive. I will work hard to try not to come back to this dealership but if that not possible I will ensure I never work with that advisor again.

I was told that I had free oil changes for a year when I signed my agreement. I went out there and they did not honor the agreement and I was charged $125 for the oil change. I could have stayed closer to my house and gotten it for half that price. That really disappointed me.

I was there on Black Friday and ended trading in my 2018 Chevy Equinox LT for a 2025 Chevy Equinox EV RS. Aaron was incredibly friendly, and has a great personality. In my experience, car salesmen tend to be aggressive and/or nonchalant, sometimes almost stand-offish, like they don’t need the sale, they’re just “doing you a favor” or something. I never once felt that with Aaron. He was kind, the conversation flowed, and we were able to exchange some good banter back and forth throughout. I never felt uncomfortable or like I was an inconvenience. He was confident, knowledgeable, and never appeared like he didn’t know what he was talking about. He gave me a FULL rundown of all the bells and whistles the car came equipped with, even going over things most would assume are common knowledge. I showed up three hours early for my appointment due to a scheduling conflict with my original time and he was more than accommodating. He did his absolute best to get me out of there as quickly as he could so that I could make it to my prior engagement. He is definitely one of the better sales people I have ever worked with. Make sure he gets the praise he deserves. Even when I didn’t buy from him the first time I visited to test drive, he never let his disappointment show, or ever made me feel like I was wasting his time. 10/10 would recommend him again :) The finance manager was also extremely friendly and made every effort to get me through all the financing paperwork efficiently as possible. Definitely a great experience all around, and the next time I’m in the market for a new car, I know where I’m going. Well done, y’all!

I called on the phone Tuesday 12/2 to ask about bringing my Bolt EV in for the five year recommended service (brake fluid change and coolant flush) as well as a tire rotation on Saturday 12/8. I was told that would be no problem and was quoted $29.95 for a tire rotation, $199.95 for the brake fluid change, and $249.95 for the coolant flush. When I arrived for the appointment Saturday, I was told that the brake fluid change was actually $209.95 and that they couldn't do the coolant flush because the EV tech was the only one that could do it and he wasn't in until Monday. They also mentioned that the $249.95 quote was the wrong one since that was for vehicles with a single cooling loop and the Bolt EV has three, but told me only the EV tech could give a real quote which would probably be "a bit higher". Fair enough, I guess. I went ahead and did the tire rotation and brake fluid change since I was there anyways. Getting back, apparently they lost one of my valve stem caps during the tire rotation and failed to reset the TPMS when they moved the tires. So I came back on Monday to get them to reset the TPMS and replace the valve stem cap (which, to their credit, they did) in addition to doing the coolant flush. They said they would have to get back to me later for a quote, but I had to go into the office, so I left my car there to go ahead with it. Turns out I get a call later and they tell me the real price for the coolant flush is $715 which is significantly higher than the (incorrect) $249.95 I was originally quoted (of course, now that I had already left my car at the service center). So not only was I not able to do the full maintenance on the date I scheduled, but they failed to do the tire rotation fully, losing a valve stem cap in the process, making me have to return a second day only for them to give me a wildly different price for the coolant flush. To add insult to injury, the coolant was only $77.34 and they took roughly 3 hours, so effectively I'm getting charged about $200 an hour for their labor which is crazy. The only good part of the experience was the complimentary shuttle driver, Greg, who was punctual and a chill guy to talk to on the way from/back. The only reason I even went through with it despite the terrible pricing was because I had about $500 in GM rewards points saved up. Even with three coolant loops, no way a coolant flush is worth $715 out of pocket.

Overall very good experience. I came in for a service bulletin / recall that still needs to be fixed as the part is back ordered but I got my oil change done as well as other recommended services.
